Where Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Healing
Nestled in the sacred hills of Kirtipur, Himalayan Nada is a sanctuary where the ancient echoes of the Himalayas find resonance in the modern soul. Here, we believe sound is medicine—a bridge back to the lineage of Buddha, Guru Rinpoche, and Milarepa.
Where Sound Becomes Medicine
At Himalayan Nada, we harness the vibrational power of handcrafted singing bowls, symphonic gongs, and intricate voice harmonics. Each frequency is selected to resonate with the body’s cellular structure, guiding the nervous system from a state of ‘fight or flight’ to deep, restorative stillness.
Our practice isn’t just about relaxation; it’s a recalibration of the spirit. Through rhythmic resonance, we dissolve the static of daily life, creating a fertile ground for inner transformation and clarity.
Meet Nirgaman Maharjan (Boo: Khya)
From the raw energy of folk metal stages with ‘The Boo: Khya’ to the profound silence of sound healing, Nirgaman’s journey is one of radical transformation. With over 20 years of musical exploration, he discovered that the most powerful music is the one that heals from within.
His path to healing was deeply personal, born from his own recovery from manic depression. In the resonance of seven sacred bowls gifted by Ernest Tang, he found a lifeline. Today, Nirgaman shares this gift with compassion and groundedness, working with everyone from inquisitive children to the elderly in need of comfort.
The stage taught me how sound moves a crowd; the bowls taught me how sound moves a soul.
